Growing a Capacity for Self-reflective Practice amongst Educators, Allied Professionals and Parents in the Early Years

Self-reflection is an essential skill for building meaningful and developmentally supportive relationships with young children. This insightful webinar is designed for early childhood educators, allied health professionals, and parents, providing both theoretical frameworks and practical strategies to strengthen self-awareness and relationship-based practice in the early years.

Through an exploration of self-reflective capacity, participants will learn how to assess and enhance their own interactions, both with children and with other adults. Emphasis is placed on understanding personal strengths, recognising emotional triggers, and adjusting responses to foster more attuned, supportive engagement. This course offers participants an opportunity to reconnect with their values and develop the skills to bring a more thoughtful and intentional presence to their caregiving roles.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this talk, participants will be able to:
